Bridging the Gap (BTG)
Alcoholics Anonymous Temporary Contact Program
What It Is
BTG is a temporary contact program that helps individuals transition from treatment or incarceration into the AA community. The time between release and attending a first meeting is often the hardest—BTG helps bridge that gap.
Once released, a BTG Volunteer will contact you by phone and make arrangements to meet you at an A.A. Meeting. We will introduce you to other A.A. Meetings; explain the A.A. Program and the importance of finding a Sponsor and getting connected. Men are referred to men, women to women.
